All in one package

I've been looking all over for this Baby Blues strip. It was buried in my thumb drive all along ;)

I will be like Wanda MacPherson in the Mommypedia and Momtionary department someday:

Got hooked

No comments:

Ever got hooked on Yahoo! games, like this one?

Zuma!

It was the in thing during our early days at the Main Library (for those of you who still don't know, we used to work together here as librarian [her] and student assistant [him]). We weren't enjoying it as much as we can at that time for two reasons: Firstly, we rarely had the time to play because we were always on the move (we were assigned at one of the busiest Sections in the Library). Trabaho muna, syempre (winks). And secondly, most PCs there didn't have sound cards then (how Jurassic, ano?). Our kumareng Gene happened to be the PopCap (Bookworm, Bejeweled, Dynomite, among other games) champion at that time!

Our home computer doesn't have games in it. We did this on purpose, actually. We made sure that every time we sit down in front of it, we should treat it as a workstation. But lately, we started playing elementary web-based games in between.

We'd get so excited, we'd sometimes beat each other's high scores. Nope, no domestic bumps and bruises going on. Or else, we'd stop playing (aaaayyy!). Hehehe ;)

Six months HAPPY together!

2 comments:
When we were still single, we never really knew when we became official as a couple. To us, it just happened. The months and years don't matter. And we scoff at -saries (monthsaries, et al), too. Ay naku, those who personally know us can tell that we are really like that ;-)

Well, we're married now. And last night, while watching The Musketeers on video, we remembered that we'd be six months married in a couple of hours, so we waited until midnight and went to God in prayer. We're just so grateful to Him for bringing us together. We greeted each other "Happy monthsary!".

So there. Baduy na rin kami, and proud of it. Hehehe.

Another testament that there is love and marriage in the library! Edwin and Sheryl are colleagues/officemates.

I was kidding Edwin -- our Supply Officer and technical person, to prioritize my supply requests because for the first time in many, many years, I wore a dress and walked around in pointy, inch-heeled shoes. Thanks to my husband for making me look like a lady ;-)

A pink sign?

I had this "unusual" dream about three nights ago, which I only remembered recounting to Vincent the night after.

It was a hospital nursery scene. Vincent was standing by the nursery's glass-protected window and gazing lovingly over a healthy new-born baby. On top of the baby's head was a name tag: BABY BOY ABRIGO. It was a boy, alright, and I assumed it was ours. But what surprised me was that he was swaddled in a pink blanket. Which made me wonder, bakit kaya (why is that)?

"So what's with you and the color?" Vincent quipped with a smile. "The color doesn't matter. You know we don't have gender issues. Sa susunod malay mo, baka baby girl Abrigo naman na nakabalot sa blue blanket (maybe next time it's a baby girl Abrigo cloaked in a blue blanket)." I told him maybe I've had too much of Grey's Anatomy and Brothers & Sisters gay relationship episodes before going to bed that night. And lately, we've been talking a lot about baby-planning, so it all rolled into one dream.

I don't know how they call it in psychology, but it was more like a dream manifestation (?). What you want combined with what you've seen or heard that day comes out in your dream.

I remember when I was still single, I dreamt of being Ben Affleck's girlfriend and he speaks excellent Tagalog! Winner! Hahaha! I had that dream after seeing one of his movies. But that's a different theory, though. In psychology it's called wishful thinking ;-)
