The Puppets are Going Abroad
While Christine and I travel our separate ways, our trusty bedmates (yes we have bedmates, two cute stuffed toys aptly named Ting-ay and Mumuy) have decided that they want to go with us. While we cannot take both of them at the same time (due luggage weight limitations), Christine and I agreed that we will just take each one on our own travels. Ting-ay has already been to Europe so he is off with me to Mexico City. Mumuy, on the other hand, has done so many domestic travels already and it is high time that he sees Europe and hopefully have a blast knowing how Swiss watches work.
Anyway, just to show you people how serious they are in these travels, here are some pictures that we took the other night. Just look at them browse through guide books and have their passports ready. :-)

Sweet bonding :)
We are leaving on separate jet planes next week (sniffs...). And so our second to the last weekend was spent running errands with some last minute shopping for the stuffs we'll need for our trips. The result: Body pains. We weren't able to get up for work Monday morning.
The day wasn't really that "luxurious". We raised our legs against the wall from time to time and then did some preliminary luggage work. As usual, our eating schedule went abnormal. In the evening, we decided to whip up some sweets. Gulaman de Vincent and leche flan de Christine. The gulaman wasn't really that sweet. The flan complemented that.

More than seven kitchens
It was my turn in the kitchen this morning, and as it has been the result of those occasional disastrous kitchen mornings, half of the canned meatloaf intended for breakfast ended up in our lunch boxes, and half of the ampalaya -- of which I had two versions: the omelet and tossed, whichever is edible -- which was supposed to be the original baon, ended up in the breakfast table. My husband woke up minutes earlier than I expected, so he caught me panicking. And because he's used to seeing me in that form and state, he just smiled, washed his face, gave me his Good-morning-it's-alright-I'll-have-breakfast-anyway-I-love-you kiss, and then sat down the computer to check his email.
I kept on monologuing about how the ampalaya should suppose to look like. He finally commented, "Siguro hinalo-halo mo kaya naging ganyan, ano (you blended it together that's why it ended up like that, didn't you)?" I grinned from ear to ear and he mimicked me. Guilty again.
He went about his business with the computer while I went and cleared up the sink. After a while, I made him a cup of tea and a cup of coffee for me. Then as I hugged him on his back summoning him to breakfast, I said, "Hey, it's the 15th!"
Seven months of happiness together!

We want her!
If you have Sky Cable at home, you'll never miss this TV ad. This little darling endears us so much, we'd always watch out for this ad each time. Watching her pout with her feet all dangled down and swinging on the piano makes us go, "Awwww, we want one like her!" Such a smart, sweet girl.

What we're into these days (part II)
Here's another batch of what we look forward to (or not?) lately:
That's it for now. We're pretty sure more will be added in our What we're into list in the coming days.
- Oatmeal revolution. We have to cut on fats. Our blood pressure's been soaring proudly, and it's not a good thing. So from this day on, oatmeal (like crackers) will taste like fried chicken, sweet ham or sizzling pork chop to us. Mula ngayon, goodbye, chocolates! Goodbye, spaghetti! Goodbye, hotdogs! (sniffs...we just don't know how long we'll last *winks*)
- My Girl (Pinoy version). We like the humor and the actors' blocking! We haven't seen the original Korean version, so there's no point of comparison. It doesn't matter, though. We may love the series but that doesn't make us KimEralds (Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson fans) ha! Let's just make that one clear :)
- Miniclip. It's a haven of online games! We usually play the Canyon Defense here. Ever since we got hooked on games, we've been replaying on classic arcade (Pac man, River Raid, et al.) and we swear it still gets us up our seats!
That's it for now. We're pretty sure more will be added in our What we're into list in the coming days.
